U.S. Representatives Dina Titus, Charlie Christ, Gus Bilirakis, John Sarbanes, and Chris Pappas also prevailed. On the state level, in New York, Senator Michael Gianaris and in Rhode Island Senator Leonidas Raptakis both won in unopposed races, while John-Alexander Sakelos leads in a surprising race for the New York State Assembly.
